Excellent protection and comfort

I got this shirt just before a trip to Costa Rica. I wore it in the jungle as well as in the waves at the beach. The excellent coverage on my head and hands made a huge difference and it is truly one of the most comfortable shirts I have ever owned for this purpose. The drawstrings are affective and having a small pocket was clutch. Later this summer, I will be testing it out in the desert – I may even get a second one so I can switch it up. I highly recommend this sun shirt.

Outstanding freedom of movement and coverage

The Shelta Assault is outstanding for playing in the surf with my kids, going on long walks, or fishing. The hood and hand covers are awesome features for the intense Florida sun. I plan on buying another one. Love that I can attach my Shelta hat lanyard to the neck for safe keeping.

Perfection

Started with a Seahawk while on active duty with the USCG. Added a Firebird V2 to the collection when I retired and moved out to AZ. Loved it so much I bought one for each of my boys- 14 and 9 (fit perfectly- M/L and S/M). AZ will cook a ginger family in the summer so I needed something more. This shirt absolutely fits the bill. The hood covers generously without being obnoxious and the sleeves are even made to cover the back of your hands if desired- who woulda thought?! I love it so much I’ll be adding a few more to the queue shortly. If you don’t have one, get one. You won’t regret it.
