The Condor Performance Sun Hat was designed based on feedback from our Shelta family, who desired a style that could provide both sun protection and comfort in hot conditions. This version features a deeper crown for air flow and a wider, downward angled brim for increased UV protection. A full vapor barrier liner prevents the fabric from touching your scalp, while allowing air flow through the laser cut venting holes and breathable material. Unlike the previous model, the new Condor does not have a stash pocket, making it even lighter. However, it still maintains its amphibious nature with the No Sag headband, No Flop brim technology, and the ability to float on water, making it perfect for activities such as boating, gardening, or strolling on the beach.

CONDOR- Surpassed expectations!

I just spent 10 days sailing in the BVI and the Condor from Shelta performed better than ANY hat I’ve ever used (and I’ve had plenty including Tilley hats, Outdoor Research, and others). Nothing compares when it comes to a sailing hat that provides excellent shade & sun protection AND the ability to maintain its shape against high winds. All the other brimmed hats I own are pretty much useless when beating into a 20 - 30 knot headwind but the Condor was exceptional. Also shipping was quick and the company was very helpful when I had accidentally selected the wrong shipping method. Highly recommend, and I will definitely order again.

Fantastic Hat

Just bought a second one of these, was tired of transferring my first one back and forth from home to work. Fits snuggly so stays on even on windy days without cord. No flop brim keeps vision clear and wide brim shields sun well. Well worth the price for sun protection.

Wife's New Hat

Went out on a long Side-by-side ride. My wife was fighting with her floppy hat; hat flapped in her face and up to her head. She asked me how I kept my hat under control in the wind. I said it is a Shelta and now she owns one. Wouldn't go out in the wind without it.

Size just a bit larger than usual with the condor

Good fit overall but seems a little larger than advertised when comparing the fit to the firebird and seahawk versions.
