This hat works very well for my needs, and the fit is excellent. I do wish Shelta offered a closed back for some of their baseball-style hats, since I often wear it backwards and don't want a half-moon tan (or sunburn) on my forehead.

Wore this for a week backpacking, along with a sun hoody it was perfect. Stays cool, nicely adjustable., fits my big head, and so light I basically forgot about it.

I THINK THE SHELTA HAT IS ONE OF THE BEST AVAILABLE TO HELP PROTECT YOU FROM THE SUN AND WEATHER. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE BUT THEY HOLD UP BETTER THAN MOST HATS AND I FIND EASY TO KEEP CLEAN,

This is my second V2 cap. The main reason I like Shelia hats is for the sun protection. This particular cap is by far the most comfortable hat I own. The only reason I only have 2 is the color selection. I wouldn’t mind seeing some different colors besides black, white and gray. I do have another Shelia cap, that’s a different model that comes in a nice brown. I like the color, but it’s not as comfortable as this one.

I have a large head and I love hats. But finding one that fits is super hard. I bought the XXL Tech Cap. It's outstanding. Big enough for my melon. Light. Easy to pack. Very versatile. Two thumbs up. (I've owned a Shelta Boonie for a few years and love it too). Well done.
