I don't write many reviews, but this hat is pretty awesome. It's hard to find a full brim hat that garners compliments, but I've received a few already. But the best part is the brim: I've had my boat at full throttle, and the hat won't flutter. I've biked in a gale, and the hat stays put.

At first I thought was too tight, and gonna be hot. Florida sun bite shards. Somewhere in my yard work, I forgot it was on. No burnt scalp, no bugs in my hair. It’s a great hat.

I bought the Seahawk V2 for boating use hoping the front brim would stay down and keep the sun out of my eyes in a headwind. The good news is that it works far better than any other hat I have tried. The bad news is that with a headwind over 25 - 30 mph it pulls the hat off of my head and the chin strap saves it. I can hold the visor with one hand and keep the hat in place. and often do, but I was expecting a lot more wind ability based on advertising claims.
It's still a very high quality hat and the best I have had- but it is not the miracle hat as claimed in the ads . . . .
And I would buy another one unless something better comes along.

Great fit, light weight, like all the extra features. Very packable, great for upcoming trip.
